Upon completion of this 14 hour course the student will be able to:
- Describe the CEN exam process as well as test-taking tips
- State primary interventions for management of problems related to all bodily systems
- Identify components of the nursing process as it relates to a variety of medical conditions
- Discuss issues related to professional, ethical and managerial topics as they relate to emergency nursing
This course is designed as a review course for the experienced registered nurse preparing to write the CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) national examination. The course content is based on the ENA Core Curriculum & reflects the current CEN format. This course is NOT intended to be an introduction to emergency nursing.
